I finished The Mortal Instruments the other day. A series hasn't left me so utterly distraught as this one has in a while. Apparently there are a few short ebooks that chronicle the resolution of one horrible event that left me in tears but I can't get my hands on them at the moment so all I can do is suffer and wait for the sequel series. Sometimes I honestly wonder why I do this to myself? Honestly? Then I remember that reading is a literal form of escape from my normal boring life.
They are making a Mortal Instruments TV series after the flop of a movie. It's coming out next year and I can already tell by the casting that they are caring a bit more about the book than the director of the movie. I actually love the cast! So high hopes there <3

In the last chapter of Demon with a Purpose we were enlightened to quite a few things and I didn't really get any theories, just shock! Which is always fun. I don't think anyone really know what's going on :D
The past couple of months has been rather rough on me. I'm not sure what kind of rut I fell into or why it happened. Maybe a combination of stress and anxiety (when isn't it?) but I think I'm on the other side of that for now. I'm in a pretty good place as of last week.
I am finally back to writing regularly. Before I was barely throwing out a chapter of Demon with a Purpose a week. Last week I started a two new stories - one of which I've already posted. I think I like it. But the one I am keeping to myself for now I love. I've missed really loving to write something. This story is like that and it brings me more joy than anything in the world when I can honestly enjoy writing.
Chapter 24 of Demon with a Purpose was written and posted yesterday. This one was really fun because it was finally revealed who his mother was! Ah!! I'm looking forward to writing the next chapter when we get to see his reaction. Also, now that he knows, a special girl will be coming back soon and can I just tell you - drama is about to go down! Big time drama. It's going to be really interesting to say the least.
On a complete side note. Can Age of Ultron PLEASE come out on DVD already?! It comes out in October. I can't wait that long! I'm going to dieee D: But at least college football season starts in a few weeks. That will keep me busy. (ROLL TIDE)
Welp, that's about all I have to say. I'm off to watch Treasure Quest to Snake Island! It's really cool! The premise is this group of explorers is looking for a long lost treasure on this island right off of Brazil. The tiny island is covered - and I mean COVERED - in these insanely poisonous snakes. No other animals or people live there and they have to go and try not to get bit while looking for this treasure. It's a really cool show!
Much love to you all and here is a prompt for ya <3
First off. This song. That is all.. but not really

It's been such a freaking busy week. I can't even tell you. I started my senior year which equals stress to the 10th power. My brother got surgery on Thursday and that was so horrible. Once they were in his heart, they found an issue that they thought would render the surgery useless. After they came out and told us this, they went back in and said that they were going to stop the surgery. 30 minutes later they came out and said he was fixed... they went ahead and tried something without permission and fixed it. Uhg, I'm getting stressed just thinking about it. He's fine now, thank God.
Yesterday my internet was screwed up for some reason. I was positive that I had been hacked by some angry Russians or something because it was acting so weird. I was able to post DWAP in the midst of that crap. It took about 4 hours of fighting with the system though. That's fixed for the most part today though.
I was talking to a lovely reader of DWAP and she was talking about how she'd like to see Toad in DWAP. I mentioned that I hadn't had any luck in finding a character to play Toad and that's why he was absent. Well, in 5 minutes she found what I couldn't in 3 hours. Toad.
Like, just yes! AM I RIGHT??
On a complete other note, I have two stories that I hope to post soon. The first one -- are you ready for this? It's CLINTASHA. I'm dipping my toes in an Avenger's fic again! I already have the first chapter just about done. Exciting stuff. And it has twins. As usual. Two sets, actually!
The second book is an original which everyone knows I don't have luck with. The characters are Lucy, Drew, Blade and Paxton. Here are the cast -
Drew Tamsin is a rather ordinary 20 year old. Her eccentric roommate, Lucy, balances her out with the crazy colors and attitude to match. Things change from the normal to the crazy when Drew meets Paxton. He along with his brother Blade bright something different to Drew's life. Something unexpected and not very welcome. << Sucky, right? lol
Sometimes there is nothing better than acting completely insane and throwing paint and glitter at someone. It's not entirely natural, but it was so much fun to just be crazy and act like kids. Here are some PICS that were taken of our little Paint War.

Hello everyone <3 I hope you are having an amazing day.
I've been absent on here and on Wattpad for a while now. Writing has been hard lately, not sure why. I've started two or three books in the past few weeks, thinking that it would help but nothing is. Everyone knows that I only really update Demon with a Purpose and even that's been hard. I'm supposed to update today but I don't really have any of it done.
Tomorrow I won't be able to write because I'm going over to my Best Friend's house to spend the night and have a paint war and photoshoot. Pics to come maybe!
Next week my brother is getting heart surgery and our house is getting put on the market.
It's all rather hectic for sure and I've been really stressed out. That's probably a large factor in why I can't write anything.
The internet is an amazing thing. It allowed me to have a movie night with one of my Wattpad friends, SelenaBarrows12 :D It was her first time ever watching Thor which is the movie that started my obsession with Marvel... and Chris Hemsworth... and Tom Hiddleston.. and Josh Dallas... ok, I'm done.
Either way, she turned it on at the same time I did and we messaged each other the entire time! It felt like we were together. That's something I really love about the internet. You meet so many amazing people that you never would otherwise and they really can be friends! And even more in some cases where people meet and get married.. it's amazing. The tech nowadays is just brilliant.
Anyway, I really enjoyed it and look forward to doing it again with Dark World ;) Those movies are just epic.. like all Marvel movies!
Because we all know it's the best part ;)

I currently have some kind of virus which sucks, but that's not stopping me from writing. Which the only think I write is Demon with a Purpose.. but hey, whatever! Writing chapter 21 currently and trying to decide how things are going to play out. It's got 4.6 K reads! I'll die when I reach 5K! lol I love the 5's and 10's. It's an OCD thing though ;)
Oh, I almost forgot. Selena started a new Avenger's fic and I can already tell it's going to be epic. Check it out {HERE} and give it some love <3 <3

Song of the day because it's playing as I write this and I love it.. so yeah!
Suzanne Collins has rendered me a puddle of tears and broken emotions.
Yes. I am fully aware that it is 2015 and I'm just now reading The Hunger Games. The simple reason being that I watched the first movie when it came out and was traumatized... no joke. I hated it. (I love me some Josh Hutcherson though!) Either way, it made me scared to pick up the series.
For some random reason I decided to order it this past week and I read all three like my life depended on it! They are written brilliantly and I was hooked from the very start. I admire Suzanne so much for than I thought I would as a writer.
It's almost 4 in the morning and I just finished Mockingjay and as I'm still tearing up I'm writing this! lol Because that's how I deal with my emotions, I write them.
I think one of my favorite aspects was her amazing time management. I stink at passing time inside the book and making it feel seamless, but it's an art form to her. Months and years pass in the books but you don't feel at all left out. It's like nothing happened.
Character development was golden as well. She wasn't scared to put them through the ringer and it molded them beautifully... and not so beautifully sometimes.
The ending just made me drop my kindle and cry. They had made it so far, been through so much and then it's just over. I felt exhausted alongside them like a good book will do to you. I didn't want it to end! But the ending was perfection.. it really was.
Uhg, I don't know what to do with myself now! A new world and it's people are now going to be stuck in my head. It's a lovely yet haunting thing.
I hope the rest of the Mortal Instruments series arrives soon to get my mind off of it.
So, your thoughts? Have you read the books or watched the movies? My opinion is that the books are freaking amazing. The movies, not so much. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
